Our zabbix server stopped working last night at 21:42. The web page was responding fine as we have been happily viewing the overview page in total ignorance that nothing on it was current. We only found out after a clients server died and we didn't respond.
The queues section of the monitoring tab shows 700 items in the queue starting at 21:42.
The only solution seems to be a reboot of the box, which has got it working.
IS there a log I can check to see what happened ? Also, is there something we can monitor on zabbix (using a different monitoring server) to test whether it's actually working ?
