So, I've just created a new template to monitor the latest application rolled out across our web farm, so I want to add that template to all of the hosts in that group. But I don't see a way to do that! Am I missing something here?
Please share. I had a rough night, could use a pick-me-up.
Interesting. I've always done it one by one. Probably because I don't have enough groups to break it down.
But I think there is a way.
Under configuration -> hosts
Now make sure the drop down of "host templates, host groups, etc", says Templates, and the other dropdown for Group says All
Select the host to add the template to
You'll see a column labeled action. Click the select button next to the Template you want to apply to a group. So its Select -> Add to Group -> Your template
Currently you can't, however I have got around this in the past by linking the new template to a template that already exists on the required servers. Failing that a direct database update.

No, you are not! Templates for WEB monitoring are not supported yet.
