Am I smoking crack?
So, I've just created a new template to monitor the latest application rolled out across our web farm, so I want to add that template to all of the hosts in that group. But I don't see a way to do that! Am I missing something here?

Interesting. I've always done it one by one. Probably because I don't have enough groups to break it down.
But I think there is a way.
- Under configuration -> hosts
- Now make sure the drop down of "host templates, host groups, etc", says Templates, and the other dropdown for Group says All
- Select the host to add the template to
- You'll see a column labeled action. Click the select button next to the Template you want to apply to a group. So its Select -> Add to Group -> Your template
- You should be good!

Sigh. No, all that does is make the template a member of the group.
It sure seems like it would really be desirable to be able to apply a template to a group with 1 click....Comment

Currently you can't, however I have got around this in the past by linking the new template to a template that already exists on the required servers. Failing that a direct database update.Comment

No, you are not! Templates for WEB monitoring are not supported yet.Comment

Just click on Configuration > Host groups > Hosts > select all > mass update > add the template.Comment
