Zabbix emailed all hosts unresponsive ON .. but they were not and no record of email
Strange one this I have not seen before and its happened right with our first live trial where I am trying to prove Zabbix to some managers, directors etc..
All the hosts on a stand alone node emailed out that all hosts were unresponsive. The action is configured to simply send an email when a trigger occurs with a severity level of average high or disaster.
However "Actions" does not show the email being sent, the hosts are not down and are quite happily collecting data on all its items. Also the map with all the hosts on show a happy green "OK" next to each host.
Additionally we have not received another email saying the hosts are "Unresponsive - OFF".
This is quite important because (as I mentioned) this is our first live trial and the people looking at the monitoring system and screen/dashboard I created are not fully technical and it has an impact higher up within the company.
