Meaning of: Not supported by ZABBIX agent

I created a new Item of type "Zabbix agent". It runs a script on the client and returns the return code ($?) to the server. Everything works, no problems, but I do notice that the Error column (when viewing the Configuration | Items page) has this text:

Not supported by ZABBIX agent

Anything I should be concerned about? Is this just telling me that this particular check is not compiled in to the Zabbix binary?

If the status column shows "Active" and the error column has the "Not supported by ZABBIX agent" then that just means at one time that item was listed as "Not supported" in the status column but is now resolved. This is probably a minor bug, once an item goes to "Active" the error column should get cleared but it isn't (at least on 1.4.2).
