    Perhaps try SNMP?

Yes, SNMP is probably your best option, in case the UPS/battery supports this. You may be lucky if theres already submitted a template for the UPS you are going to monitor: http://www.zabbix.com/wiki/doku.php?...trib:templates

        yes..
but, i have read MIB for UPS, but my question is :
Does this MIB can be used for monitoring battery too?
Or we must use the spesific battery or UPS so we can monitor it ?
        Thank You very much.

if you cant get SNMP to work then..

Moste enterprice UPS have a webservice running soo you can browse to the UPS page. then you can easy make a script that grep out all the info ya need.
