    two servers

    if my network has multiple ISPs for redundancy, can I specify two seperate IPs for the Zabbix server in the .conf file for the zabbix agent? Will this cause a problem with the database if it's reporting to two different IPs? Basically I'm looking for a failover in-case my primary internet connection goes down.

    Is the box on which Zabbix is running acting as the fail-over router and connected to both ISP connections? Most scenarios have a router (ie., Cisco) that is configured with both external connections and also handles the fail-over.

    In short, does the Zabbix box have a public IP assigned to one of its interfaces?

      My question is can I define 2 servers ip in agents in /etc/zabbix/zabbix_agentd.conf file:
      For example:
      Server = 127.0.0.1,192.168.1.1
      It's possible???

              Sure.
              Read the comment in the zabbix_agentd.conf File in the line
              above Server=

              Norbert.
