zabbix server unreacheable???

I think this is common problems that we have faced when install zabbix for beginner, but i have searched in this forum, there is no thread that discuss it. But i face this problem, and until now i can't find the solution for this, so what should i do?
Anyone can help me please..

i use zabbix 1.4.2 on Ubuntu 7.04.

i have modified some of the zabbix_server.conf,
and now the status of the zabbix server change : UNKNOWN
any solution?
