SimpleCheck Problem

I would like to use SimpleCheck with icmpping and icmppingsec with different hosts (Cisco, XP) but it never works. Last check/Last value/Change always show "-"

This is my conf for "Item" :
Description : icmpping
Host : myhostxxx
Type : Simple check
Key : icmpping
..
Status : monitored
Type of information : Numeric
Store Value : As is

And my conf for "Host" :
Host : myhostxxx
Use IP address
Port : 161
Status Monitored

What is wrong?

Do you have program fping installed? It is not part of ZABBIX distribution.

Is location of fping correctly configured in zabbix_suckerd.conf? Does the program have execute permissions for user zabbix? You may also want to set SUID flag for the binary (+s).

Thank you very much. Now Simple checks icmpping and icmppingsec work.

Note that icmppingsec returns seconds, not mseconds! It is somewhat confusing, especially when you start looking at graphs
