I have billing software that i would like to get integrated into Zabbix. I would love to be able to add and remove hosts through the billing software some how. The billing software allows me to use HTTP POST and GET, vbscript, perl, and so on.
Does anyone have any hints on how i can automate this this? I have hosts that all have a certain template assigned to them. Then once i add a host i setup a screen with 6 graphs with that specific customer assigned to it. So i can login to Zabbix and pull up a screen and see that specific customers graphs all in one section.
I know that Alexei said that he has already implemented screen templates in 1.6 but i'm working on getting this billing software to work with Zabbix right now and would really like to get this working. I know that Zabbix is setup right now to use a MySQL backend. I can also use the billing software to interface with that database if needed if that makes it any easier.
Any help would really be appreciated.
