Monitoring NAS device

I am trying to find a way to monitor my NAS terastation pro.

Since I can't install an agent on it, is there a way to monitor shared folder?

All I need to to monitor the disk space on the units.

Assuming this thing has a network cable, have you tried using snmp?
You;d have to lookup or snmp walk the device to get the correct oids for the storage volumes.

another option is to mount the shares on a server and run an agent on it and use the disk usage checks in the agent.
