    SQLServer and Zabbix???

Can Zabbix works with SQLServer??? I read the manual, and I saw the databases that it support; but it's possiblerun zabbix with SQLServer?? I'm working in an open source proyect; we need to find open source alternatives to use, and Zabbix is one of them. I'm new in this, but i hope to learn a lot in this process.

    Thanks

Yes, Zabbix supports both MySQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle databases. But maybe you are thinking of MS SQL?

(some Microsoft people tend to leave out the "MS" part, and just calls it SQL server, as if it was the only SQL server on the market )

As stated in the documentation, zabbix only works with the following sql engines:
        - sqlite
        - mysql
        - postgresql
        - oracle
