    configuring item for Zope

    Hi again,

    I am using zabbix1.4.4.
I need to monitor Zope( CMS package) services.
So, i added a zabbix active item to check the status of the service
but it gets to 'Not Supported' every time.

In the agent (1.4.4&FC3) log i saw this:
    Code:
Active check [net.tcp.service[python2.4,,9580]] is not supported. Disabled.
    and the snapshot is attached

    Why is it so??

PS: I even tried entering the IP address but no use

    Item proc.num[python2.4] works very well.

    Then why doesnt net.tcp.service[]??

im using it cause i want to monitor the python2.4 process that listens on port 9580.

I thought it is obvious, look at supported parameters for net.tcp.service[].

Yo man, Sorry I didnt have a look at services supported
            changed it to net.tcp.service[tcp,,9580]

            Works like magic.
