I've been trying to connect a trigger to the Availability status of the host in the Host configuration screen, but this doesn't seem possible. What am I missing? I just want to check if the host is responding on the port configured in the host screen. (SNMP is UDP, the simple check is tcp only)
I've seen workarounds to ping the host (ping is not enabled in this network) and no data solutions, but both are unusable here. (and I was wondering why it's not possible to use the already registered status within zabbix itself?)
