Zabbix 1.4.5 - Actions defined for templates problem

Hi people, I'm having problem getting actions working from templates, exactly the same issue here:

Because it is not supported currently. Actions defined for templates do not affect alerting in any way, they are ignored.

I hope, that actions based on templates will be implemented in 1.4.x.

Alexei said it was not supported that time, and now ? is it supported ? any workaround for it ? I'm using version 1.4.5.

PS: If I clone the trigger the action works fine.

Thanks for answering, just to know, this feature is planned to be released in version 1.6 ? Is there some workaround for it ? I have lot of servers with the same trigger, I need to clone all of it on all hosts for the actions to work fine ? or I'm missing something ?

Clone? Why?!

Create a host group with all your hosts included. Add action condition:

Host group=<your group>

That's it.

Alexei, i have the same problem.

I have a trigger defined as a
name - Ntpd failed
{Template_Linux_Commonroc.num[ntpd].last(0)}<1
When i use this trigger for defining action only for test as a
host group='www servers'
AND
trigger='Ntp failed'
AND
trigger value='true'
it doesn't work at all. This action must send an email, but no notifications had been sent. Notifications counter doesn't increment. Can you comment this?

I have created a trigger with next parameters
Test trigger
{Template_Linux_Common:system.uptime.last(0)}>1
Severity Not classified
"Test tirgger" as a text

Then i created next action:
Name - Test Actions
Source - Triggers

Host group = 'www servers'
trigger = 'Test trigger'
Trigger value = 'Test'

Action

Send message to User "Test".

Host gorup www servers contains now 94 servers.
Here is a cut from template linkage:

Name		#	Members
WWW servers	94	server names

Actions doesn't work. Administration->Notification counters still haven't incremented.
May be I defined triggers wrong? Or something else?

I'm using zabbix-1.4.5 server.
Configure string:

$ ./configure --with-ucd-snmp --with-libcurl --with-ldap --with-mysql --enable-server --enable-agent
