Static Graphs

Hi,

I have a problem regarding the data stored in the database. Is it possible to keep a
graph like in MRTG after the data falls out of the history? I want a 7 day history in the database and static graphs of month/year like in mrtg so I can keep a (relative) small DB and have the average data of the last month/year still there.

Any idea how to solve this?
Maybe it's an idea for a future release of zabbix to generate these graphs :-)

Do you just want to keep a longer history? If so, just go into the "CONFIGURATION OF ITEMS" section and "Change" the history retention time. You can do that from the "Hosts" -> "Host" select -> "Change" line of interest. You can also do that from the "Items" menu.

No. I want to keep approx a 7 day history but I want Zabbix to generate a graph from the data which is deleted from the history so I can have an exact history of 7 days ( in the DB ) and the old data in form of a graph.
