    Min Max Functions

I'm trying to create a bit of hacked up escalation on some of my triggers. I've tried all sorts of different combinations of min, avg, and max for when a server goes unavailable.

Basically I'm trying to create triggers based on the amount of time a host has become unavailable. Something like this ->

    Warning
    {Template_Windows:status.min(120)}#0

    Average
    {Template_Windows:status.min(300)}#0

    High
    {Template_Windows:status.min(600)}#0

    Disaster
    {Template_Windows:status.min(1200)}#0

    Please advise!

    Thanks,

For starters, you might want to make them {Template_Windows:status.max(120)}#1 (if 0 is down and 1 is up)
This way the trigger will be active when the server is down for 120s.

I'd also make them dependant on eachother

      It Doesn't work

It seems like the first 2 minute trigger works just fine.

I disable the zabbix agent as a test.
I'll get a message that warns that the host is unreachable for 2 minutes, but no messages for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and so on. Once I renable the zabbix agent and I get messages back that the server is now available for , 2, 5,10, and 15 minutes.

Is there something I am not understanding about the min and max functions?

        Solution located

I just used graduating instances of the following and it works.

        {Template_Windows:agent.ping.nodata(28800)}=1

Max and min only works for the first event triggering.
