    Installing VNC with zabbix agents

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can automate the installation of VNC or similar with every zabbix agent ? I want to be able to monitor remote servers, and then easily access those servers when zabbix fires an alarm.

At the moment we use a mix of remote access tools, but I'd like to standardise on one and then hack the zabbix interface so that each host has a "VNC HERE" link which will take the engineer to the desktop of the server.

    A little time

    Hi,
I spent a little time trying to figure this one out a while back. You'd need a vncrouter/relay service that runs on linux(http://www.bevingtontechnologies.com...stepbystep.pdf), then use the Java applet based VNC viewer within zabbix frontend. You might want to look at UltraVNC client( http://www.uvnc.com/install/unattended.html).

Have you ever looked at open-audit?

    Hope this helps,
