    Monitoring elements of PC... Help!!

Hi, I'm new on Zabbix, so I would like to know if is possible to monitor some things like:

    Temperature
    RAM Memory

I would like to monitor this in Windows and Linux; so if you can tell me whats the items that i should to monitor and whats the Triggers for this items, i mean..

For example for windows, to monitor the C disk..

    Item: vfs.fs.size[c:,free]
    Trigger: Template_Windows:vfs.fs.size[c:,free].last(0)<10000

I would like do that kind of things in windows and linux for temperature and RAM memory; Im new in this... :P

Other thing, is possible to run visual alerts if some trigger is fired? for example, if there's many traffic in Ethernet card, and the trigger is fired, I would like to see on screen some visual alert like "Warning!!! To many traffic !!!" with colors and that kinf of stuff, hehe..

    Thanks!!

    Hi!

To get the Temperatures, cou must use some further software like SNMP, IPMI or that. Then write Scripts for UserParameters or configure the SNMP OIDs in Zabbix.

To get RAM Data try "vm.memory.size[free/buffers/chached/share/total]"

We use Windows Popups to get instant trigger alerts.
There's code for a simple shellscript sending them somewhere on this board...

    Hope there's some Information useful 4 u...
