Winpopup alerts

Hi, I followed the tutorial for popup alerts:

I did all the steps, when the action is fired, the script is fired to, and I have in Monitoring ---> Actions that the winpopup was send but the popup never is shown on the PC of the user that suppose must be shown.

Should I active something in the windows PC where the popup must be shown?

What other options could I try to test the script and the popup message?

Yes!

On a german system it's called "Nachrichtendienst".
You can activate/deactivate it in the "Systemsteuerung" -> "Verwaltung" -> "Dienste" (sorry, i don't know the correct english names).

Two things come to mind (not tested/verified):

• Is the Messenger service running on the receiving computer?

• Is there a firewall blocking incoming messages?

Yes, the messenger is running on the receiving computer, and i hasn't firewall activated.

And if you try from the command line of another Windows machine, does your receiving PC accept a message?

net send <pcname> <message>
