There is no straight forward answer to that. Search the forums for "processor load" for more discussion relating to this topic.
The short answer however, it can't be done in the direct manner you are wanting. You could trigger if idle is less than 5% for instance quite easily and that would yield about the same as what you are looking for.RHCE, author of zbxapi

trigger -> action -> alert media (email, sms, etc)
The alert will only be sent if the severity level is appropriate for that email.RHCE, author of zbxapi

- first you must include "localhost" as a host.
- Then add a new item to that host (or link the host with a default template).
- Go to "monitoring" -> "latest data" to verify that the server gets values for your new item(s).
- Go to "configuration" -> "triggers" and create a new trigger for your item
- go to actions and create one for your trigger.
- I suppose you got your media "email" running?
This should be all you need to get a simple monitoring!
Seems very complicated, but if you begin monitoring about 40 items on about 20 hosts or so, you'll be happy with all the opportunities zabbix gives you!
Good Luck!
Big ZABBIX is watching you!
(... and my 48 hosts, 4513 items, 1280 triggers via zabbix v1.6 on CentOS 5.0)
