    Postgres vs. MySql

I am a new prospective user. I have done a reasonable amout of reading, both documentation and forums, and intend to use Zabbix. I prefer Postgres as a database for most other projects. I want to start by using your latest 1.1alpha10 release. On your download page you only show Postgres listed as a database under version 1.0.

Please advise if I can use Postgres with 1.1alpha10, and other alpha's, or would this require MySQL.

    Thank You

I wouldn't recommend to run 1.1 alpha versions under PostgreSQL as no intensive testing was performed yet. Please, use MySQL.
