Automatic hosts import

Hi all,

It is possible to import automatically a list of hosts with groups and template informations (items and triggers) with the import function in the frontend of Zabbix ? Automatically mean for me without login in the frontend, but with a script in cron by example.
I need to monitor 3000 objects and all day new objetcs are added or/and deleted and I receive this information with a csv file.

Nobody has a solution or an idea to do this ?

Did you ever manage to get a follow-up to this? I'm looking for not only a way to add or remove hosts externally, but to have the entire capability provided by the template import/export functionality in Zabbix exposed to me in some way that does not entail having to use the web interface. And preferably without messing around in the database directly either.

I just have try to make a curl script to import/export hosts/templates/groups, but it was not a good solution or I'm a badly developper...
