    Cisco router bandwith

    Hi everybody,

I want to monitor a bandwith utilization by percent for a cisco 800 series.

I receive by snmp the value for IfInOctets and IfOutOctets, but i'm not able to used it correctly for display in a graph

    How can I do?

    Thanks for all

First of all in the items section you will need to change "Store Value" option to Delta for IfInOctets(and other counters you need)

I haven't actually converted speed to percentage values but 'Use Multiplier' option should be helpfull I think to calculate percents.

Right now you can't do ongoing percent utilization of a network connection, unless it is given via some other means such as SNMP or an external script.

One option would be to run an external script that polls the router, determines the delta then figures out how close to max it is then puts that value into Zabbix.
