Erro Host

some equipment displays the following errors to me:

No available - Got empty string from [aura] IP [10.x.x.x] Parameter [agent.ping]

No available - ZBX_TCP_READ() failed [Connection reset by peer]

the host Linux agents

I do not know where the errors come.
If somebody can help me.

Trust me, my Spanish is so bad you probably don't want me to give you an answer in Spanish.

I have also had this problem with 1.4 and Linux hosts. There have been two different scenarios in which I can replicate this errror.

1) The Linux box with the Agent is already communicating with a different Zabbix server.
-Check your Zabbix Agent conf file. I doubt this is your problem (I have political BS to deal with that leaves me with many Zabbix servers. I hope you do not have the same problem. )

2) The Agent is not started on the Linux host and the Server is trying to comunicate with it OR the agent was started /after/ the Server tried to connect.
-If this is the case, just make sure that the agent is started and then go to Configuration->Hosts->Check the box on the left of the computer->at the bottom of that screen select "disable selected"->After page refreshes reselect the checkbox->at the bottom of the screen select "Activate selected".

In short you are just forcing the Server to try again. if you leave it long enough it should do it for you, as well.

Thank you very much by your commentary…. but I believe that the problem is not this.
I have only one server in Linux, several agents in linux working (5) and other agents Windows (2) working… three (3) agents in linux do not only work.
It already verifies configuration file of the agent and the direction of the server this correct one.
Also activates/Deactivates host formed in the server. My server is zabbix 1,4 and the agents in linux are 1.1.4, whereas the agents Windows are 1.4.4.

Not like updating the agent linux. (1.1.4 >1.4)

The only times I have ever seen that error, the above two solutions I posted were how I fixed them.

If they did not work for you then I am sorry but I don't know what else to try.

Anyone else seen this error?
