This project is intended as extend the native options of Zabbix 3.0 or 3.2 and give support for you create your plugin by your self.

With EveryZ (new project) will be delivered Zabbix-Extras 3.

Just one question: did you start talking with zabbix dev team abou integration at least some of those features/extensions?
If not using those extensiona is a bit pointless as they will be not supported.

I use the internal frontend Zabbix API. And a least one of Zabbix devs make tests on EveryZ during beta stage.
Its like grafana... but inside Frontend without need extra packages and autentications... the idea is: EveryZ will support the integration with frontend (I already make this since 2009... starting on Zabbix 1.6) and now I will start the process in 3.4, and you use the functions and support from EveryZ to developer your plugins.

Second, I have been asked to remove cat and flag icons from login screen and dashboard screen in Zabbix. For some reason people in my company don't like them and want them removed.

Is there any way to do this but not to impact the tool?

Hi Cenzooo,

This is a native feature: use configuration module of EveryZ... there has option for hide ZE (the cat) and change the zabbix logo for any image in zabbix Images catalog.

Because of using SH when invoking the installer, i got the following message (works fine when using BASH or KSH for example):

/tmp/installEveryz.sh: 784: [: 0: unexpected operator

There were some other error messages:

tar: include/classes/sysmaps/CMapPainter.php: Cannot stat: No such file or directory
tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors
cat: include/classes/sysmaps/CMapPainter.php: No such file or directory
sed: can't read include/classes/sysmaps/CMapPainter.php: No such file or directory
sed: can't read include/classes/sysmaps/CMapPainter.php: No such file or directory
tar: include/classes/sysmaps/CCanvas.php: Cannot stat: No such file or directory
tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors
sed: can't read include/classes/sysmaps/CCanvas.php: No such file or directory
[ ok ] Restarting apache2 (via systemctl): apache2.service.


There is one error that i noticed so far (haven't tried all functions):


In Capacity and Trends, when selecting a host then a key:
Error: Incorrect value "key_" for "srcfld1" field.

I searched the server-log for "srcfld1" but didn't find anything.

There is one question (feature request?): any plans of integrating automated mailing of PDF-reports?

Please try to install again. Yesterday I update everyz to 1.1.2 to solve 2 of this related issues (intalll error messages and popup.php).

thanks for that quick solution, the re-install went fine, everything's ok now!

Regarding the PDF-reports, that should be for example an availability report, or triggered actions overviews. I have seen some posts about a dynamic PDF generation, but that seems to be rather old. Maybe i can do that externally using WGET.

I have found two issues:

1. Geolocation

If I create dummy hosts with manual Inventory settings like Location latitude and Location longitude I'm able to see hosts in maps.

If I move dummy hosts to a host group where are also live hosts with SNMP data populated automatically to host inventory fields I'm not able to see any map nor hosts at all. What could be the issue?

2. Is there a way to remove icons except Zabbix completely from front end login screen?

My setup is Zabbix 3.4.1 and EveryZ 1.1.4 on Centos 7

I would like to know if is possible to use everyZ with a zabbix server compiled to use a oracle database?
I installed in a zabbix server using a MySQL database and it works fine! But when I tryed to install the script installEveryz.sh in a zabbix server unsing a oracle database, appeared the message bellow in frontend:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_error() in /var/www/html/zabbix/local/app/everyz/include/everyzFunctions.php on line 268

Is there any document to discribe the adadaptation to oracle environment?
