Upgrade to 1.4.1

Hallo All!

How can I upgrade from 1.4 to 1.4.1?

I search it in the mail list, in the forum, in the documentation but i didn't find a step-by-step solution...

Sorry If it is a simple thing but, I dont't know...

No database changes are necessary. Just replace the zabbix_server binaries and the php front end.

Agent upgrades are optional.

Well the binaries, the executables like zabbix_server, zabbix_agent, zabbix_agentd etc.

You can upgrade to 1.1.7 easily (simple bin upgrades). Upgrading to 1.4.1 is binaries, lots of DB tables, agents, and some more learning. Read the manual if you're going to 1.4.1 from 1.1.2

my way

i updated to 1.4 form 1.14 with a clean wipe out of the old 1.14. reason: coz i searched the forum and found many -ve apsects of upgrading with the files provided. eg. pple are missing graphs, templates links are broken, image map is missing etc...

to avoid all these confusing, i wipe out 1.14 and do a clean installation of 1.4. and Yesh! everything is in place with no wrongs except of coz u need to 're-create' yur 1.4 dB with hosts and triggers ... but anyway evey PCs need a format once in awhile
