    Auto discovery using snmp

    Hi Alexei,

Before that i used zabbix, i saw other software solution to monitor devices, Its name's is NINO (http://nino.sourceforge.net/nino/index.html).
Is a limited software compared with zabbix, but has two functionalities very interesting: Auto-discovery network: it use snmp to discover the network and Graphical port view: you can view a switch and get all connected ports, the ports free (without use), router tables (like netstat).
This software is similar to zabbix (it use php and mysql) and the auto-discovery works from a php page. Perhaps these functionalities can be imported to zabbix.

    Best regards.

Basic autodiscovery features (IP range, by ICMP ping and TCP scan) will be available in 1.1. More advanced discovery features based on information provided by SNMP agents (routing tables) and ZABBIX agents is planned for next releases.

Just wondering this is gone into one of the "next release" Is this in 1.6 now ? I come from a different use case about routes. I just want to see the actual routing table of a host. Can this be implemented and stored to a host ?
