Error in lauching Zabbix_Agentd.exe in windows

Hello,

I trying to make the windows installer for the 1.6 zabbix_agentd.exe version.

When I launch the zabbix_agentd.exe I receive a error message as service or in console mode :

I have the same problem.

The last logentry is: "Unable to add performance counter "\Processor(_Total)\% Processor Time" to query"

After that the service is stopped / killed.

Hi

another short test on german Windows XP Pro reveals:

the agent crashes immediately with a read-access to address "0x00000000000".
The last output in the log is "...Getting active checks...".
No performance counter involved, at all.

I'll investigate the agent on server OS (english) tomorrow.

even on English versions of Windows, where the 1.4.5 Agent worked fine,
the 1.6 agent crashes with the famous error message:

Contents of the Logfile is the same as with others or see my post in here.

Problem fixed in rev. 6125

Has anyone gotten the zabbix_agentd build 6125 (Oct 8) for windows 32 (Server 2000) to work? We are getting the following error message when installing:

I'm getting the error in the screenshot from the post above on Windows 2000 using the W32 binaries in the 1.6.1 release. Text of the error:
zabbix_agentd.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point freeaddrinfo could not be located in the dynamic link library WS2_32.dll.

This message box pops up when simply doing a zabbix_agentd.exe -v to check the version. A quick search turns up this suggestion http://forums.pcworld.co.nz/archive/...p/t-50226.html:

The error you mentioned happens on win2k and prior.

To get around it, include these 2 files at the end of your stdafx.h (or at the top of your cpp files just after the stdafx.h)

#include <Ws2tcpip.h>
#include <Wspiapi.h>

Can anyone confirm that 1.6.1 works on Windows 2000?
