Host's popup menu in dashborard

Hi

I have a question regarding the popup menus that is showed when a hostname in the "last 20 issues" is clicked.

When clicked, it gave me a popup with 3 items:

1) Tools

What is his utility ? I saw I cannot use some macros like HOSTNAME and
something like that in his definition.

2) Links, How could I specify a link (eg related to host) ?

3) Last Values - works as I expected

Can I set something like traceroute.sh HOSTNAME, where hostname is a
macro ? if not, what is the utility of the script menu related to a host if I can't specify parameters ?

Also in this case, where cant I set the url for this menu ?

Hi

we modified the Monitoring/Trigger PHP script, so that some macros like
{HOSTNAME} and {TRIGGERNAME} in the URL (configured in the Configuration
sheet) are replaced by the corresponding Hostname, and, you guessed it,
by the name of the trigger.
We use this as a "Help" for our monitoring crew.

Example for Configuration:

http://www.help.net/help.php?hostname={HOSTNAME}&triggername={TRIGGERNAME}

We'll try to use this URL (or some other) and add a "Help" Link
in this popup. I am not sure whether it's easy or difficult.

This would be a nice addition to 1.8, though (Hint, Hint, Hint) !

Is your modifications based on the 1.6 frontend?.

Apart from this, I haven't understand yet what is the utility of the "links" menu in the popup menu of the "last 20 issues" section in the dashboard.

I can't find a way to customize this link, infact when i click on it i have no links attached to the menu items.

Home somone can help me to figure out the question.

Hi

our modifications are based on 1.4.5 and 1.4.6.

Didn't have time to add (just the three lines of PHP code in 1.4.5/6) to
the 1.6 frontend - and waiting for 1.6.1

No additional SQL statement must be executed because all information
is already available in the trigger screen.

So, 2. - what is this for & how to configure it? It would be very helpful set link to, for exapmle, inventory of host, where we can see hosts contact & descrition...

What about ability to specify a link to hosts that should be directly accessible through popup menu in dashboard 'Last 20 issues' (not through profile or extended profile)? Can i do this in some way now? Is this implemented or I should open a ticket?
