Can someone post a download link for 1.4.6 as i want to go back a version and see if it will fix the issues i am having

you can make a checkout from svn
svn://svn.zabbix/com/tags/1.4.6/

if you are on linux, download and install the subversion client
ubuntu: apt-get install subversion
rhel5: yum install subversion (i think)

make a dir somewhere, enter it and do
svn export svn://svn.zabbix/com/tags/1.4.6/
