Hello everyone. I've decided to develop a Zabbix HA agent for Open High Availability Cluster. ( http://opensolaris.org/os/community/ha-clusters/ohac/ )
The agent, apart from using SMF to monitor Zabbix at a process level, will need to probe the application more deeply in order to figure out whether it is running properly or not. So can you guys tell me about any commands or some specific parameters I can use to validate Zabbix-server? Will 'zabbix_get' help me out here? For instance, if I run that on 127.0.0.1, will that help me test if Zabbix is functioning correctly or not?
