Triggers based on items with wildcards?

    Hi all,

Is it possible (and if not, could it be made so?) to base a trigger on a partial item with a wildcard? (* or %)
    For example:
    - Disk usage item: Template:vfs.fs.size[/var,pused]
    - Disk usage item: Template:vfs.fs.size[/home,pused]
    - Disk usage item: etc
    - Trigger: {Template:vfs.fs.size[*,pused]. last( 0 ) }>90

I expect this to give an extra strain on the database, so i can imagine if this is not feasible.

It is not possible currently. The idea is nice, unfortunately this would lead to a highly inefficient processing.

I assume this is still not available as of 2023 right ?

i am trying to setup one trigger to send alerts for just any web scenario which fails. I a dozens of web scenarios defined per Host, and so i would like not to have to defined one trigger per each of these scenarios in order to send alerts. I guess wildcard triggers could help me here:

      last(/host/web.test.fail[*])<>0

Or is there any other way to achieve this without the need of having 1 scenario per host and use a template ?

i was thinking about LLD and trigger prototypes, but then again i would need to use multiple dependent items which is not supported ...
