Very nice plugin! But unfortunately I won't be able to use it in my environment since I would need to have several open firefox instances (in this case, being notified by popups) and plugin doesn't seem to be ready for distributed environment (it only gets the local master node's events... I would like to get events from subnodes too).

On the other hand, in standalone environments it works like a charm!

Since you're accepting suggestions, here I come:

          - Possibility to get events from distributed setup dashboard (getting master node's events and from its subnodes).

          - Configure refresh rate (at least I haven't found on the option =/ )

          Keep up the good work!

            Add-ons Zabbix 1.2.2a

I fixed an error with the correct display of a popup.

I've tried plugin and deleted it after ~5minutes. It causes Firefox to freeze. Although there're requests to Zabbix frontend, but nothing is displayed.

              FF 3.5.7/Ubuntu 9.10

Plug-in worked very well on FF 3.5.7 (Windows 7).

New FF 3.6 came out and this plug-in is not compatible any more

Please Sia Zabbix, support formally this plug-in! This is the only feature present in Nagios that I still miss in zabbix. Nagios Checker plug-in frees me of looking at Nagios interface all the time and I loved do the same with zabbix frontend.

Murilex request isn't that far fetched..
Extensions like this one free us some time to focus on other things and thus keep Zabbix Servers Admins happy.

                            Excellent, thank you !

To be honest, what I would really like is to have the option to just disable this popup. Any chance ?
