    Feature Suggestion

    Dear Developer,

    It would be good if Action operations can be improve with more function such as able to specify which Media in user account should it send message to, without having to create different user account as workaround for different media. At the moment it send to all media in user account.

    eg. to receive email message for some problem while other urgent trigger should send sms.

    You can set what severity level you want to accept, per media and per user.

    For example:
    - Email : all levels
    - SMS: only "High" and above

    Of course such design won't allow each and every combination but it definitely helps.

      isnt that means different action for different media? I am thinking of escalation, something like first 5 minutes with email and it not resolved within 15 minutes, send an sms to other user.

        This is already in our TODO list. I am quite sure this will be implemented before 1.8 is out.

          OK. That's a different request: notification media depending on step of actions and not on severity.

          And indeed this isn't possible right now. You have to create multiple "fake" users and first notify the first fake user/group that accepts emails and the notify the second user/group that accepts SMS.
