Vote for Zabbix API

It'd be nice if there was an API section of the wiki where api scripts could be posted as I think it'd be a nice resource and a help to people to get started with their own API's.

I apologize digging up this thread.

Though Zabbix is still seeing heavy work on its API definition
the implementation that came in 2nd place was REST.

Has there been any plans about making it available in time for Zabbix 2.0 ?

i'd say existing one is better polished further...
but different additional apis could be implemented as wrappers on top of the single official one in whatever language, i believe

I couldn't agree more,
the current API has come a long way in the last few months but there's still quite a few options unavailable using it.
