    Zabbix 1.7.2

    Hello,

I'm installing the last Beta version 1.7.2, and when i create the database, in the instruccion:

    cat data.sql | mysql -u<user> -p<password> zabbix

    give me this error:

ERROR 1136 (21S01) at line 506: Column count doesn't match value count at row 1

    Any idea..¿?

it's a known problem and fixed in trunk, rev 8315

    if you don't want/can't get trunk, here's fixed data.sql : http://www.zabbix.com/wiki/_media/co...a.sql-8315.bz2

      Another Problem!

      Thanks Richlv,

      I this fix this problem.

But now i have another problem, if i have a backup of the version 1.6, how can restore those datas? because the schema has changed.

I was trying to upgrade from 1.6 schema but, when i execute

      cat patch.sql |mysql zabbix -u<username> -p<password>

      then give me this error:

ERROR 1064 (42000) at line 47: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' ' at line 6

      Thanks!

I think richlv are talking about this:

            Code:
            ubuntu@ubuntu:~/zabbix-1.7.1/upgrades/dbpatches/1.8$ pwd
            /home/ubuntu/zabbix-1.7.1/upgrades/dbpatches/1.8

            ubuntu@ubuntu:~/zabbix-1.7.1/upgrades/dbpatches/1.8$ ls -ltr
            total 12
            drwxr-xr-x 2 ubuntu ubuntu 4096 2009-11-07 07:02 postgresql
            drwxr-xr-x 2 ubuntu ubuntu 4096 2009-11-07 07:02 oracle
            drwxr-xr-x 2 ubuntu ubuntu 4096 2009-11-07 07:02 mysql

the file from 1.7.2 seems fine in that location to me. are you sure you are using the correct file from, upgrades/dbpatches/1.8/mysql, and that 'zabbix' database contains zabbix 1.6 data ?
