Integration with a CMS

Is there any integration with a CMS, that way you can select a few triggers to displayed as up, down?

I'm considering doing a project for my company to create an internal intranet and I'd like to add triggers to the intranet so that way people know if the host is up or down.

Any suggestions on how this can be accomplished? I haven't coded in a long time, and I wouldn't mind taking this on as a project.

Zabbix 1.8 is introducing Zabbix API (JSON-RPC based), which can be used for easy integration with 3rd party products. Release of Zabbix 1.8 is scheduled for December 7th.
