    Auto-remove of monitored servers?

Is there a feature in Zabbix that will auto-remove a server that is listed if it has not been able to connect after a certain time span?

I am hoping there is that way if a server was de-commisioned and has been out of use for say... 90 days, it would automatically remove its entry in the web browser.

    Thanks!

That feature is not available. While I can see the usefulness of something like that I think that is best done as an external script via the API. You could set it up so that you have a trigger set for server down, when the timeout period is reached the trigger fires and executes an external script which makes an api call and deletes everything associated with the host.

Yes, it is absolutely possible using auto-discovery. You may configure it so that if a server is down for a certain period of time, it will be disable, removed, assigned to a different host group, whatever. You will be notified as well.

although i'm trying to refer to it as "network discovery", to distinguish from agent auto-registration better
