The Zabbix devs tend to prefer that a ticket for the idea/feature request be submitted. https://support.zabbix.com use the project ZBXNEXT

Most often though a thread get's created, people discuss, one of the devs pops up and says "hey this sounds like a great idea please open a ticket in the ZBXNEXT project"

If you create a ticket I suggest you make it easier for the devs by keeping *one* core idea per ticket. If you have multiple ideas per ticket it's harder to close the ticket when one of the ideas get's implemented. Also try and have a full description of the idea, and perhaps a use case and anything else that may help others to more fully understand what is trapped in your head.
