but where is v 1.8.3 , that the documentation is referring to ?
Because on the main www.zabbix.com , there's a giant 1.8.2 number marked as latest version.
So ?

1.8.3 is not yet released - documentation is being written during the development cycle.
in a similar fashion, "what's new for 1.8.2" was available long before 1.8.2 came out.

Very confusing though, keeping in the documentation of the stable release something that is still in development
