      Just a thought.

Prior to Zabbix, I used to use SNMP to monitor Linux.

Now I use the agent, as it does everything that SNMP gives me and more.

hi can you monitor hardware in this way?

I mean using the linux zabbix agent?
or I have to use SNMP to monitor hardware? I mean by hardware faulty harddrive, faulty power supply, excessive temp... and so on

        thanks a lot
