So I've got two thoughts that kind of feed each other, but can exist on their own as well. When on the Dashboard or Triggers page the hostname is a same page link that brings up a toolbox. This tools box has two sections, Tools and Links. The Tools section is populated under the Administration configuration tab of Scripts.
The first idea is to make any instance of a system's name in a table that is not linked for other functional purposes should provide the toolbox which clicked. The only place I saw current linkage that was not the toolbox was on Dashboard under the Host Status section, the pop up has system names linked to their respective Triggers tab.
The second idea is that it would be nice is via the Scripts configuration or some other means, you could define a macroable URL that would be clickable from inside the toolbox. This way one could define an HTTP/HTTPS URL that people could click on, a telnet:// link, or for those who want to configure their desktop to support it, an ssh:// link. I could see it even being useful if their was the possibility of doing a mailto: link that could be populated with the POC1/2 address from the extended profile.
