    Zabbix 1.8.4

Thank you for the update to Zabbix. I have been testing out v1.8.3 and it is very nice. This morning I upgraded to the new v1.8.4 and the process was flawless and I am back up and running.

I noticed that despite my logs indicating the upgraded version, the web interface continues to report the version as 1.8.3.

Here's my log after the upgrade:
28729:20110105:094006.118 Zabbix Server stopped. Zabbix 1.8.3 (revision 13928).

Did you only upgrade the binary or did you also upgrade the php frontend files? Fedora (and other distros may too) packages them as seperate RPM packages.

If you installed it yourself it's just a matter of copying the contents of the frontends/php files over your existing frontend files. If you have not made any edits to the php files this is all that is necessary as your config file will not be overwritten.

Thank you NelsonAB! That was it, I just missed that step. The correct version appears now.
