Fedora 15 will be changing the naming convention of the network devices. I recommend the developers try to ensure Zabbix works without issue with these changes as there is a great potential for these changes to make it into RHEL 7, and subsequently all other derivative distributions (CentOS, Scientific Linux, etc). Also with the cross pollination that occurs between distributions it is possible this may some day appear in other distros.
