zabbix api trends

hi,

i want to develop a capactity-report tool with zabbix-api, but my problem is, that i can´t reach the trend data with the zabbix-api.
i don´t want to call the database directly.
is this in planning or is there another solution for that?

The trends API is on the roadmap, but it hard to say when exactly it will be developed.
