Separate host items for different user groups

Hi,

I'm looking for solution to allow different user groups to monitor theirs applications on a host, but without access to data gathered by items created by other user group.
In my environment, this would be especially important for log monitoring.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I'm using zabbix 1.8.4

hi,

i´m also using 1.8.4. There is not possibility to seperate host items.
you can only grant access to the complete host. I was also looking for some solution, but the only thing i found, was that you can develop your own tool via API.

because i would need this also, i raise a jira-ticket (https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBXNEXT-1033)
