Release schedule

Hi

Is there somewhere I can view your planned release schedule ?

We currently use Zabbix 1.8 and it works really great !!

I know 2.0 is in development - so was wondering how soon it would be released as stable and we could use it in a production environment ?

Is 1.9 your development branch or can it be used in production ?

How long will you be actively improving 1.8 ?

there is no hard release date for 2.0, it will be out when ready

you can see the amount of issues which absolutely must be fixed before 2.0 at https://zabbix.org/zabbix/history.ph...period=6305337

when they all are fixed, rc1 might be ready

and no, 1.9 should not be used in production (unless you are very brave)

I'm still waiting for Alexei's movie where he's eating a hat or three(?) for not having met the original release dates
But more serious: is it released when the blockers are gone? Or do the criticals have to be solved as well?

as i mentioned, when blockers are gone, rc1 might be released. if rc1 holds for some period without any blockers found, 2.0.0 will be out. if blockers are found, they are fixed and new rc is out. and so on, until no new blockers.
