Datetime select on graph display page like it was in 1.6.3

In prehistoric 1.6 versions, there was small calendar over the arrow (screenshot attached) - i find it a very good tool to set time scale on graphs.

this feature is not 1.8.9. is there any way to have it back ? just my feedback, thanks !

try clicking on dates in the upper right corner of the time period scrollbar
