I'm new to Zabbix, so if this has been suggested already or it can already be done and I've missed it then my apologies.
I'm really liking Zabbix with one exception, the screens and slides (should that be 2 exceptions
). I want to be able to make screens to display information about a specific host, then use that screen for any host in the group. I can see I can do that with graphs by making them dynamic, but not for displaying information such as triggers for that host only. It seems you have to make a seperate screen for each host and even then often you can only display global data.
It would also be great to be able to make "dynamic slides". For example, make a screen that is dynamic for all hosts in the group as per my request above. You can then create a slide and tell it to slide through that screen for all hosts in the group. Again the only way I can see at the moment is to create a slide and manually add each and every screen.
The rest of Zabbix seems to be set up to create and apply templates to make it easy to add multiple hosts, but screens and slides don't fit that model, almost as though they were an after thought and haven't really been integrated at all.
