    {MACROS} in Trigger Descriptions

    @richlv

    I don't know how others are using Zabbix, but I'm using the dashboard most of the time. Seeing everything green gives me peace of mind and better prepared for an upcoming support call. If someone calls for support I will immediately go to the Zabbix dashboard to see if some things look strange there.

    If it turns out that support call could have been prevented if Zabbix detected it before it became a problem I will try to create triggers for it....

    The text that will be in that trigger item needs to give as much information as possible and still make a sensible English sentence.

    I think Zabbix could be improved and made easier to put data into that sentence...
    One improvement would be a {MACRO} that holds the value of the expression that made the trigger.
    We now have {ITEM.VALUE1} and {ITEM.LASTVALUE1} and I often use them, but they only make sense if I use last(0)

    If I use, for instance "avg(3600)" or "last(0)/86400" I want to be able to get the outcome of that expression in my Trigger Description.

    Somewhat related to this I would also like to be able to use {MACRO} inside the URL-expression.

    so a macro like {TRIGGER.FUNCTION} or similarly named would be the one you want, i guess. i don't recall a feature request like that, so please create a new one (but search for existing ones anyway )
